Edencrest at The Legacy Edencrest at The Legacy Retirement Community is certified by the State of Iowa. The staff at Edencrest are here to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living. Some members may find they do not need any assistance, others may want medication management, assistance with dressing, bathing, hygiene or ambulation. Our unique program allows us to bill for ONLY the services the resident needs. Prior to move in our Health Care Coordinator, RN will complete an assessment with each resident to identify what services are needed. This will allow us to create an Individualized Service Plan. What Makes Us Special We have developed a “Closer Care” option for residents in between Assisted Living and Memory Care. Closer Care is an opportunity for your loved one, who may have higher care needs or be in the early stages of Alzheimer’s, a safe, secure choice. With increased staffing and a more structured environment, our goal is to provide an area with increased autonomy and quality of life.
